Delivery, warranty and returns
Delivery
Orders placed before 14:00 on a working day ship the same afternoon from our Glasgow warehouse. Standard delivery to mainland UK addresses takes one to two working days. Scottish Highlands and Islands may take an extra day. Desks and racks ship on a pallet via a tail-lift vehicle; smaller items go by parcel courier. We email tracking details as soon as the consignment leaves.
Warranty
Every product carries a minimum two-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The 24-hour control room chair has a five-year warranty on its mechanism and gas lift. Warranty claims are handled from Glasgow: we collect the faulty item at our expense and ship a replacement or repaired unit within five working days.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to return any item in its original packaging for a full refund. Desks and racks must be disassembled and re-boxed. We arrange the collection, and the refund is processed within five working days of receiving the goods back. Chairs that have been sat in for more than 48 hours are excluded unless faulty.
Frequently asked questions
How long does delivery take?
Mainland UK: one to two working days from dispatch. We dispatch same-day on orders confirmed before 14:00. Desks and racks travel on a pallet and are delivered to your ground-floor entrance by a two-person crew. If you need the item carried upstairs or into a specific room, mention it in the order notes and we will quote the extra handling.
What does the warranty cover?
Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear on castors, gas lifts and fabric is covered for the first 12 months. The 24-hour chair has an extended five-year mechanism warranty. Damage caused by exceeding the stated weight limits is not covered.
Can I get a formal quote or pay by purchase order?
Yes. Fill in the contact form or email us with the items you need. We return a PDF quote within one working day, valid for 30 days. We accept purchase orders from UK-registered companies, educational institutions and public-sector bodies with 30-day net payment terms on approved credit.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
Every price shown in the catalogue includes VAT at 20%. Your invoice will show the net amount, the VAT amount and the gross total. If you are VAT-registered and buying for business use, the VAT is reclaimable on your next return.
Can I try a chair before buying?
We keep both the operator chair and the 24-hour chair on display at our Glasgow showroom. Call ahead to book a 20-minute appointment. If you are outside travel distance, order the chair and use it for up to 48 hours; if it does not suit you, return it under our 14-day policy at no cost.
Do you offer after-sales service or spare parts?
We stock replacement castors, gas lifts, armrest pads and rack cage nuts. These can be ordered by phone or email and usually ship the same day. For desk and rack repairs, we can arrange an engineer visit within central Scotland or provide a video-guided repair for straightforward fixes.
